ISSW 2010.

I am in the throes of getting ready to travel to Squaw Valley, CA for the International Snow Science Workshop for 2010.  It is a meeting of snow scientists, researchers, and other professionals interested in snow.  Basically it is five days of sometimes mind-numbing paper presentations and powerpoint slideshows.  Very heavy science stuff with perhaps 15% being really understandable and applicable to derelict ski patrollers like myself.  Thats ok, still good to keep abreast of this stuff. I am planning to take my confuser and hope to blog while there.  Fun.
