Even at this late date I STILL get hits from folks doing a web search on skiing in Europe in October and November. Again, I think this is a bit of overkill or overplanning. Skiing at this time of the year is such touch and go because of the weather, trying to plan more than a week out is plain silly. If you insist on this, be prepared for sketchy conditions and the need to travel far. I have a much longer post on this issue which I posted on February 24, 2011.
