Train station in St. Moritz Dorf. I probably will not put a lot of pictures in this folder because of the sheer number (400 plus), my inability to remember details about the pictures, and the fact that this blog is about skiing, not train trips. I hope to have descriptions for some of the more interesting pictures.
Sorry about the awful window reflections.
Spring was on its way to the mountains. Lot of melting snow.
Part of the famous train viaduct in Switerland. All stone and well over one hundred feet high.
Above the town of Bergun looking north.
Bergun, Switzerland. Small ski run in meadow above town.
Above the town of Filisur and the train breaks down.
Look closely at the departure time on the board and the time on the clock. You don't see late trains very often in Switzerland.
With all those windows, it was hot on the train.
Starting our climb up to the Oberalppass and the Andermatt ski area.
Part of the ski area of Films/Laax Switzerland.
Waiting on the Oberalppass for the other Glacier Express train to come and pass. This was the spot where both trains could pass one another, otherwise it was one track only.
Heading down into Andermatt, Switzerland.
Looking at the Andermatt main ski area.
